Zefferino and Maria Flora were called to be leading
testimonials in Italy
O-I, international manufacturer of glass packaging for
our oil, has launched in the second quarter of 2011,
a Pan-European trade press advertising campaign which
will continue until the end of the year. The campaign
has the intent to promote glass packaging and its benefits
through targeted messages which are conveyed through
several main testimonials (a CEO, a chef, a designer,
an environmentalist).
The advertising campaign, for which
Monini brother and sister Zefferino and Mariaflora were
called to be leading testimonials in Italy, is based
on the concept "glass builds brands."
The several testimonials who take part with their image
in the European campaign as "Glass Ambassadors"
are people who really believe in the benefits of glass
packaging in terms of both safety and quality of food
and beverages (the glass being inert, does not interfere
with the organoleptic quality and protects the product
characteristics for long time) and in terms of marketing
communication (the glass packaging gives a premium image
to the products and distinguishes them on the shelves,
in addition to making distinctive and recognizable the
different brands) .
The photos for the advertising campaign were taken between
February 21 and March 6 2011, at Monini Frantoio del
Poggiolo.
In addition to photos for the advertising campaign (in
which even our products Classico and Delicato appeared),
a video interview on glass packaging was produced. The
video has been posted on the website www.glassisgood.com
.
The website will continue the advertising campaign worldwide
and will be seen also by consumers.
