By blending
together a tasty “bruschetta”, a
mild summer evening, with the notes of the reinterpretation
of the pieces that Charlie Parker recorded for
Verve in the Forties and Fifties with an orchestra
of strings, percussion, oboe, French horn, English
horn and harp a jazz master, we can recreate
a magical experience.
The young
Sicilian saxophonist, Francesco Cafiso, puts
himself to the test with one of the more difficult
but, at the same time, fascinating repertoires
in the history of Jazz.
