Spoleto, Italy
She has been the “ambassador” of the Umbrian cuisine
for several official events by the Regione Umbria and the
Italian Embassy at events held in London, Paris, Amsterdam,
Hamburg, Madrid, Chicago, New York, and Charleston. On May
2012 she was in Charleston for the events due to the sistership
ties between the City of Charleston and the City Spoleto.

As the Chef/Owner of Perla in NYC the restaurant, received
many accolades including: Esquire’s Best New Restaurants
in America, New York Times Two Stars, and Time Out New York
Best Italian Restaurant. He was also named a “New York
Rising Star” by StarChefs.com, a Zagat 30 Under 30,
and has been a James Beard “Rising Star Chef”
semifinalist.

Beard Foundation. While at Woodlands Inn and Resort, he earned

for “Best New Restaurant” by the James Beard Foundation.
