Established in 1990 by two Italian women from Varese and Bologna L'Osteria del Forno is situated in the heart of North Beach. A very small restaurant, 28 seats, with an open kitchen which produces simply cooked vegetables, divine pizzas, foccacia-bread sandwiches – claimed to be the best in the City – specialty salads, creamy polenta, and thin-crust pizzas including a "white" pie topped with porcini mushrooms and mozzarella.
