Mark Strausman serves up his signature comforts in the sleek surroundings at the top of Barneys.  The atmosphere is executive dining room, the people watching unparalleled.  The dishes start Italian and roam the globe, all with Mark's hearty, authentic personality.  He's a master of flavor, content to coax depth from quality ingredients, rather than chasing after the latest shock.  Although size-4 shoppers may alight here, they end up cleaning their plates despite themselves.  As evening quiets Madison Avenue, the bar is a lovely place to raise a toast.
